Privacy notice
Last updated: 2026-10-09. Draft, to be reviewed before launch. Not legal advice.
Who is responsible for your data?
Bill [surname placeholder], a sole trader trading as OpenAtoZ, is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Contact: hello@openatoz.pages.dev (placeholder). Address: [Business address placeholder: to be added before launch]. ICO registration: [ICO registration number placeholder, if required].
What we collect
- Enquiries: the name, email, phone, business name, postcode and message you send through the contact form or by email.
- Hosting logs: our hosting provider may process technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site.
What we don't do
- No analytics, advertising pixels or third-party trackers.
- No tracking cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own.
- We never sell your data or use it for cold marketing.
Why we use it (lawful basis)
To reply to your enquiry and to take steps you ask for before a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in running and securing the site (Article 6(1)(f)).
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted after [retention period placeholder]. Client records are kept as long as needed for the work and for legal and tax records.
Client project data
Builds run in your own accounts. I ask only for the access a job needs, hand it back at the end, and keep no copies of your customers' data after handover. I never put client data into free AI tools that train on inputs.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, or object to its use. Contact hello@openatoz.pages.dev (placeholder). You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk.
Do you use cookies?
No tracking cookies, and no cookies of our own.
Do you sell data?
Never.
