What is Reply-in-5?

Reply-in-5 is a one-off set-up that sends a polite reply from your own email within minutes when someone fills in your website form. It asks for the postcode, property size and whether the clean is one-off or regular, alerts you instantly and logs the enquiry in a Google Sheet with a reply clock.

Which enquiries does it cover?

It covers written enquiries: your website form, WhatsApp Business away and greeting messages, and Bark or Checkatrade alert emails, which are starred and logged so you notice them fast. It does not answer phone calls. If missed calls are your real problem, I will tell you so and suggest a calls tool instead.

How much does Reply-in-5 cost?

The standard install is a one-off £295. The first three cleaning companies get a founding price of £149 in return for honest feedback. Optional monthly care is £39 and can be cancelled any time. It runs on free Google tools in your own account, so there is no software bill from me.

Guarantee · Reply-in-5

What is guaranteed?

Reply-in-5 comes with two promises. It will be live and passing a test enquiry within 48 hours of you giving access, or you pay nothing. And if you decide within 30 days of handover that it is not worth it, I will remove it and refund you in full. I do not promise jobs or revenue.

Working in 48 hours, or you pay nothing.

Once you've given me access, I'll have Reply-in-5 live and passing a test enquiry within 48 hours. If it isn't, you pay nothing, and I'll refund anything you've paid.

30-day remove-and-refund.

If, within 30 days of handover, you decide it isn't worth it, tell me. I'll remove the script and triggers from your account (your sheet and data stay with you) and refund what you paid in full.

What I don't promise

A number of jobs, bookings or extra revenue. I promise the system works as described.

See it tested (demo build)

The Reply-in-5 script passed 9 of 9 scenarios in a test harness with fictional data. It is a demo build, not a client project.

How a project runs

  1. Describe the task

Tell me the job that eats your week. I ask a few sharp questions: which tools you use, how many enquiries or records, who needs alerting.

  2. Fixed-price scope

You get a short written scope: what gets built, what you will own, what is out of scope, the delivery date and the price.

  3. Build and test with fictional data

The build happens in your accounts with the least access needed, tested first with made-up data so no real customer is affected.

  4. Live test together

We run a real test, such as a test enquiry through your own form, and you check the result yourself.

  5. Handover

A written guide, a list of every trigger and permission, how to switch it off, and access handed back.

Tell me what you need done

Describe the job in a few lines. You get a fixed-price scope, or an honest “not for me”.

Why does reply speed matter?

Enquiries that arrive while you are on a clean can wait hours for an answer. Research published in Harvard Business Review (2011) found firms that contacted a lead within an hour were nearly 7x more likely to qualify it. Reply-in-5 sends a helpful first reply straight away, so you can follow up properly later.

Are there sending limits?

Yes. Free Gmail scripts can email about 100 recipients a day. Each enquiry uses two (the customer reply and your alert), so plan on roughly 50 enquiries a day. If the limit is reached, the sheet says so rather than failing silently.

Is it legal to auto-reply?

Replies are written as service messages that answer the enquiry, with no offers. I include a plain-English one-pager on the UK PECR rules. It is not legal advice.

What do I need to provide?

Access to the Google account and form you want to use, and your WhatsApp Business app for the away message. I only ask for the access the job needs and hand it back at the end.
